How to Use
Dosage
Use 1 to 3 patches daily, adjusted to the size of your painful skin area.
Method
Apply the patches to clean, dry, hair-free skin. You can cut the patches to fit. Wear them for up to 12 hours, then remove them for a 12-hour break before applying new ones. You can wear them day or night.
Important
Do not use more than 3 patches at the same time.
Possible Side Effects
COMMON
- •Redness, rash, itching, stinging, skin inflammation, or small blisters at the application site.
RARE
- •Skin damage and sores.
- •Open wounds, severe allergic reaction, or general allergy.
Important Warnings
- Do not use Esliva if you are allergic to lidocaine or any other ingredient in this medicine.
- Do not use if you have had an allergic reaction to other similar medicines (e.g., bupivacaine, etidocaine, mepivacaine, prilocaine).
- Do not apply to broken skin or open wounds.
- If you have severe liver, heart, or kidney disease, talk to your doctor before using Esliva.
- Do not apply patches to or near your eyes or mouth.

- If you feel irritation or stinging from the patch, remove it. Do not apply a new patch to that area until your skin has healed.
