Possible Side Effects
COMMON
- •Awakening reactions after anesthesia, including vivid dreams, nightmares, dizziness, and restlessness.
- •Blurred vision.
- •Temporary faster heart rate and high blood pressure.
- •Effects on breathing during anesthesia.
- •Nausea, vomiting, and increased salivation.
RARE
- •Increased body movements (like muscle twitching) and increased eye movements.
- •Double vision and increased eye pressure.
- •Rash.
- •Pain and/or redness at the injection site.
- •Severe allergic reactions.
- •Irregular or slow heart rate and low blood pressure.
- •Hallucinations, feelings of sadness or dissatisfaction, anxiety, and confusion about time and place.
- •Abnormal liver function test results and liver damage.
Important Warnings
- Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to esketamine or any other ingredients.
- Tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, chest pain, or a heart condition.
- Inform your doctor if you have high pressure in your brain or a nervous system disorder.
- This medicine should not be given if you have eclampsia or pre-eclampsia (a pregnancy complication with high blood pressure).
- Tell your doctor if you have liver disease or if you have previously used drugs or have a drug dependency.
