How to Use

Dosage

The usual dose is 1.23 mg for each square meter of your body surface area, but your doctor may change this based on your blood tests or other factors.

Method

A trained healthcare professional will give Eribulin EVER Pharma as an injection into a vein over 2 to 5 minutes. After the injection, saline solution is usually given to make sure you receive the full dose.

Important

Eribulin EVER Pharma is usually given on day 1 and day 8 of each 21-day treatment cycle. Your doctor will decide how many cycles you need.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Reduced white or red blood cell count.
  • Feeling very tired or weak.
  • Nausea, vomiting, constipation, or diarrhea.
  • Numbness, tingling, or prickling sensations.
  • Fever.
  • Loss of appetite or weight loss.
  • Difficulty breathing or cough.
  • Joint, muscle, or back pain.
  • Headache.
  • Hair loss.
RARE
  • Fever with fast heartbeat, rapid and shallow breathing, cold, pale, clammy or blotchy skin, and/or confusion. These can be signs of sepsis, a severe and serious reaction to an infection, which can be life-threatening.
  • Difficulty breathing or swelling of the face, mouth, tongue, or throat. These can be signs of a serious allergic reaction.
  • Severe blistering rashes on the skin, in the mouth, eyes, and genitals. These can be signs of Stevens-Johnson syndrome or toxic epidermal necrolysis, which can be life-threatening.
  • Reduced platelet count, which can lead to bruising or longer bleeding time.
  • Feverish infection, pneumonia, or chills.
  • Fast heartbeat or skin redness.
  • Dizziness.
  • Increased tear production, eye irritation (conjunctivitis), or nosebleeds.
  • Dehydration, dry mouth, cold sores, oral thrush, indigestion, heartburn, stomach pain, or bloating.
  • Swelling of soft tissues, pain (especially chest, back, and bone pain), muscle cramps, or muscle weakness.
  • Mouth, respiratory, or urinary tract infections, or pain when urinating.
  • Sore throat, runny nose, flu-like symptoms.
  • Abnormal liver function tests, or changes in blood sugar, bilirubin, phosphate, potassium, magnesium, or calcium levels in the blood.
  • Difficulty sleeping, depression, or changes in taste.
  • Rash, itching, nail problems, or dry or red skin.
  • Excessive sweating, including night sweats.
  • Ringing in the ears.
  • Blood clots in the lungs.
  • Shingles.
  • Swelling in the skin and numbness in hands and feet.
  • Kidney failure, or blood or protein in the urine.
  • Widespread lung inflammation that could lead to scarring.
  • Pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas).
  • Mouth sores.
  • Severe blood clotting disorder with extensive blood clots and internal bleeding.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to eribulin mesylate or any other ingredient in it.
  • Do not use this medicine if you are breastfeeding.
  • Tell your doctor or nurse if you have liver problems.
  • Tell your doctor or nurse if you have a fever or an infection.
  • Tell your doctor or nurse if you have numbness, tingling, prickling sensations, touch sensitivity, or muscle weakness.
