How to Use

Dosage

Apply a thin, even layer of gel to all affected acne areas on your face and/or body once a day before going to bed. If used on the face, apply a pea-sized amount of gel to each area (e.g., forehead, chin, each cheek).

Method

Clean and dry your skin before applying the gel. Wash your hands thoroughly after applying Epiduo gel. Do not apply cosmetics (like other face creams or makeup) before using Epiduo gel; you can use them after the gel has dried.

Important

Apply once daily before bedtime.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Epiduo gel if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are allergic to adapalene, benzoyl peroxide, or any other ingredient.
  • Do not apply Epiduo gel to areas with cuts, scrapes, sunburn, or eczema.
  • Keep Epiduo gel away from your eyes, mouth, nostrils, and other sensitive areas. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of warm water.
  • Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight and UV lamps.
  • Avoid getting Epiduo gel on your hair or colored fabrics, as it may bleach them. Wash your hands thoroughly after use.

  • Do not use other acne products containing benzoyl peroxide or retinoids at the same time as Epiduo gel.
  • Avoid using irritating, drying, or exfoliating cosmetic products at the same time as Epiduo gel.
  • If your skin becomes constantly irritated after starting Epiduo gel, contact your doctor.
