Enstilar foam is a medicine used to treat psoriasis in adults, helping to reduce red, flaky, and thick skin by restoring normal skin cell growth and easing inflammation.
Apply the foam to the affected skin areas once daily, preferably in the evening. Your doctor might also tell you to use it twice a week.
Shake the bottle well. Spray the foam directly onto psoriasis patches from about 3 cm away from your skin. Gently rub the foam into your skin. Wash your hands thoroughly right after use (unless you are treating your hands).
Do not use more than 15 grams of foam per day. This is about 30 seconds of spraying, or enough for about two adult palm-sized areas.
Topical treatment: Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Consider local adverse effects and systemic absorption. (updated 11.9.2023)
