Enoxaparin Ledraxen is a medicine that prevents existing blood clots from growing larger and stops new blood clots from forming.
The typical dose is 1.5 mg per kg of body weight once a day, or 1 mg per kg of body weight twice a day, as decided by your doctor.
This medicine is usually given as an injection under the skin by a doctor or nurse. It can also be given into a vein or into the tubing of a dialysis machine, but never into a muscle.
Your doctor will decide your maximum daily dose based on your condition.
Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Reduce the dose in moderately severe renal impairment. Consider potential interactions especially with other drugs that increase the risk of bleeding. (updated 19.9.2025)
