How to Use

Dosage

One tablet once a day.

Method

Take one tablet every day, preferably at the same time, with some liquid. Continue taking the tablets without a break, even during your period.

Important

Do not take more than one tablet per day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Weight gain
  • Mood changes (feeling down, trouble sleeping, nervousness, lower sex drive)
  • Headache or migraine
  • Stomach problems (feeling sick, stomach ache, gas, swollen belly, vomiting)
  • Acne or hair loss
  • Back pain
  • Breast tenderness, ovarian cysts, or hot flashes
  • Vaginal bleeding or spotting
  • Weakness or irritability
RARE
  • Anemia (low red blood cells)
  • Weight loss or increased appetite
  • Anxiety, depression, or mood changes
  • Dry eyes or ringing in the ears
  • Blood circulation problems or unusual heartbeats
  • Low blood pressure or shortness of breath
  • Diarrhea, constipation, or upset stomach
  • Skin problems (dry skin, heavy sweating, severe itching, male-pattern hair growth, brittle nails, dandruff, rash, skin inflammation, abnormal hair growth, sensitivity to light, or skin color changes)
  • Bone or muscle pain, cramps, or a heavy feeling in arms, hands, legs, or feet
  • Urinary tract infection
  • Vaginal yeast infection, vaginal dryness, discharge, pelvic pain, or breast lumps
  • Swelling due to fluid retention

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this medicine if you have or have had a blood clot in your legs or lungs.
  • Do not use this medicine if you have or have had a severe heart or brain circulation disease, such as a heart attack or stroke.
  • Do not use this medicine if you have or have had severe liver disease or a liver tumor.
  • Do not use this medicine if you have or have had a hormone-dependent cancer, such as breast cancer.
  • Do not use this medicine if you have unexplained bleeding from your vagina.

  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to dienogest or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not use any type of hormonal contraception (pills, patches, IUDs) while taking Endovelle. Use condoms or other non-hormonal birth control instead.
  • If you smoke, stop smoking while taking Endovelle, especially if you are over 35 years old.
  • Stop taking the medicine and call a doctor right away if you get symptoms of a blood clot, such as: severe pain or swelling in one leg; sudden chest pain or shortness of breath; severe or long-lasting headache; vision problems; speech problems or weakness in any part of the body.
