How to Use

Dosage

One tablet once a day, unless your doctor tells you otherwise.

Method

Take the tablet whole with water in the morning, at least 15 minutes before breakfast. Do not take with grapefruit or grapefruit juice.

Important

Maximum one tablet per day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Cough
  • Dizziness
  • Headache
  • Palpitations (fast or uneven heartbeat)
  • Sudden flushing of face or neck
  • Ankle swelling
RARE
  • Allergic reaction with swelling of face, lips, tongue or throat (angioedema), which can cause difficulty breathing or swallowing
  • Anemia (low red blood cells)
  • Ringing in the ears (tinnitus)
  • Fainting
  • Dry throat
  • Sore throat
  • Indigestion
  • Salty taste on tongue
  • Diarrhea
  • Dry mouth
  • Swelling of gums
  • Skin rash
  • Hives
  • Waking up at night to urinate
  • Increased urine production
  • Impotence
  • Chest pain (angina pectoris)
  • Sleepiness
  • Vomiting
  • Increased need to urinate

Important Warnings

  • Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to enalapril, lercanidipine, or any other ingredients.
  • If you have ever had severe swelling in your face, lips, tongue, or throat (angioedema) due to similar medicines, do not take this.
  • Do not take if you are more than 3 months pregnant. Avoid use during early pregnancy.
  • If you have diabetes or kidney disease and are also taking a blood pressure medicine containing aliskiren, do not take this.
  • Do not consume grapefruit, grapefruit juice, or alcohol while taking this medicine.

  • This medicine may cause dizziness or tiredness. Do not drive or operate machines if you experience these symptoms.
  • Tell your doctor if you are taking other medicines that can increase the risk of swelling (angioedema).

Use in Elderly Patients

Category A

Suitable for older adults. Do not use in severe renal impairment. Significant adverse effects include ankle oedema and orthostatic hypotension. Consider potential interactions. Avoid grapefruit. (updated 17.2.2025)
