Enalapril Vitabalans is a medicine that relaxes blood vessels, making it easier for your heart to pump blood and lowering high blood pressure.
For high blood pressure, usually 5-20 mg once a day. For heart failure, usually 2.5 mg once a day, increasing gradually to 20 mg once or twice a day.
Take tablets with or without food, with enough liquid, such as a glass of water.
The maximum daily dose is usually 20 mg, taken once or divided into two doses for heart failure.
Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Reduce the dose already in mild renal impairment. Monitor renal function and potassium concentrations during the pharmacotherapy. Avoid concurrent use of NSAIDs. (updated 14.4.2025)
