Enalapril-ratiopharm is a medicine that lowers high blood pressure and treats heart failure by widening blood vessels.
Your doctor will prescribe a suitable dose based on your blood pressure and other conditions. Typically, the starting dose is 2.5–20 mg once daily, and the usual maintenance dose is 20 mg once daily.
Swallow the tablets with water. You can take them with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.
The maximum daily dose is 40 mg.
Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Reduce the dose already in mild renal impairment. Monitor renal function and potassium concentrations during the pharmacotherapy. Avoid concurrent use of NSAIDs. (updated 14.4.2025)
