  • Do not use if you have had severe allergic reactions (angioedema), such as swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, which makes it hard to swallow or breathe, related to taking ACE inhibitors before, or if this runs in your family.
  • Do not use if you are more than 3 months pregnant. It is also best to avoid this medicine in early pregnancy.
  • Do not use if you have diabetes or kidney problems and are taking aliskiren (a medicine for high blood pressure).

  • Tell your doctor if you are dehydrated due to diuretics, dialysis, a low-salt diet, vomiting, or diarrhea, as your blood pressure may drop too low, causing dizziness.
  • Tell your doctor if you have other heart problems, brain blood vessel disease, kidney disease, a recent kidney transplant, or liver disease.
  • Tell your doctor if you have a collagen vascular disease (affecting blood vessels), or if you are taking medicines that weaken the immune system, allopurinol (for gout), or procainamide (for irregular heartbeats).
  • Tell your doctor if you have diabetes and are taking diabetes medicines or insulin, as your blood sugar may drop too low, especially when you first start Enalapril Krka.
  • Tell your doctor if you are taking potassium supplements, salt substitutes with potassium, or lithium (for mental health conditions).
  • Tell your doctor if you have black skin, as Enalapril Krka may be less effective.
  • Tell your doctor if you are taking racecadotril (for diarrhea), mTOR inhibitors like sirolimus (for transplants or cancer), or vildagliptin (for diabetes), as these can increase the risk of swelling (angioedema).
  • Tell your doctor if you are taking other blood pressure medicines like ARBs (e.g., valsartan) or aliskiren, especially if you have diabetes and kidney problems.
