How to Use

Dosage

One drop in each affected eye in the evening.

Method

Apply only to the eye. If using other eye medications, apply Elymbus last, at least 15 minutes after other drops.

Important

Do not use more than once a day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Slight redness
  • Eye pain
  • Eye irritation
  • Redness and discomfort in the eye
  • Foreign body sensation in the eye
  • Dry eyes
  • Itchy eyes
  • Temporary blurred vision
  • Thinning of the fat pad around the eye, leading to deeper eyelid folds, sunken eyes, drooping eyelids, tightening of skin around the eye, or increased visibility of the lower white part of the eye
  • Small wounds on the eye surface, possibly with inflammation
  • Longer eyelashes
  • Irritation after eye drop instillation
  • Red and itchy eyelids
  • Darkening of skin around the eyes
  • Hair growth around the eye
RARE
  • Numbness, tingling or stinging sensation in the eye
  • Eyelid inflammation
  • Eyelash loss
  • Light sensitivity
  • Increased tear production
  • Darkening of eyelashes
  • Darkening of eyelids
  • Eyelid swelling
  • Itchy, red and dry skin on the eyelids
  • Dizziness
  • Darkening of iris color
  • Tired eyes
  • Swelling of the eye surface
  • Blurred vision
  • Dry skin
  • Crusting on the eyelid margin
  • Itching
  • Headache
  • Nausea
  • Macular edema (swelling of the retina at the back of the eye, which may lead to blurred vision)
  • Sticky eyes

  • Asthma
  • Worsening of asthma
  • Worsening of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
  • Shortness of breath
  • Allergic reaction symptoms (swelling, eye redness, and rash)
  • High blood pressure

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to bimatoprost or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Tell your doctor if you have breathing problems.
  • Tell your doctor if your liver or kidneys are not working well.
  • Tell your doctor if you have had cataract surgery before.
  • Tell your doctor if you have or have had low blood pressure or a slow heart rate.

  • Tell your doctor if you have had a viral infection or inflammation in your eye.
  • This medicine may cause changes in eye appearance, such as sunken eyes, drooping eyelids, darker eyelashes, and darker skin around the eyes. These changes may be permanent.
  • Elymbus is not for use in children and adolescents under 18 years old.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy, consult your doctor. Breastfeeding is not recommended during treatment.
  • Your vision may become blurry after using this medicine. Do not drive or operate machines until your vision is clear.
