How to Use
Dosage
The usual starting dose is one 25 mg or 50 mg tablet once daily, as prescribed by your doctor.
Method
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Important
Do not take more than one dose each day.

- •Irregular or fast heartbeat
- •Feeling confused or agitated
- •Severe liver failure
- •Lower calcium levels (seen in blood tests)
- •Anemia due to rapid breakdown of red blood cells (hemolytic anemia)
Important Warnings
- Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to eltrombopag or any other ingredients.
- Tell your doctor if you have liver problems, as this medicine can affect your liver and you may need extra check-ups.
- This medicine can increase the risk of blood clots. Seek immediate medical help if you notice swelling, pain, warmth, redness in one leg, sudden shortness of breath, chest pain, stomach pain, or blood in your stool.
- Do not take this medicine with dairy products (like milk, cheese, yogurt), antacids for stomach upset, or mineral supplements (like iron, calcium, magnesium, zinc). Take Eltrombopag Vivanta at least 4 hours before or 2 hours after these products.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Use effective birth control during treatment.
