How to Use

Dosage

Apply a thin layer to the affected skin area once a day.

Method

Apply externally to the skin only. Be careful not to get it in your eyes.

Important

Do not use under bandages, on large skin areas, on the face, or in skin folds for more than 2-3 weeks, especially for children, unless your doctor says otherwise.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Inflamed hair follicles (folliculitis)
  • Burning sensation
  • Itching
  • Skin infection
  • Abscess (a collection of pus)
  • Abnormal skin sensation (e.g., tingling or numbness)
  • Allergic skin rash (allergic contact dermatitis)
  • Changes in skin color (lighter or darker patches)
  • Increased hair growth
  • Stretch marks
  • Acne-like rash
  • Thinning of the skin
  • Pain at the application site
  • Other reactions at the application site
  • Blurred vision
  • Dry skin
  • Skin irritation
  • Rash (eczema)
  • Rash around the mouth
  • Skin softening (maceration)
  • Heat rash
  • Visible small blood vessels under the skin
  • Mild stinging (especially with the solution)

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to mometasone or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use on skin infections caused by bacteria, viruses, or fungi.
  • Do not use on rosacea, acne, or skin reactions after vaccination, chickenpox, tuberculosis, or syphilis.
  • Do not use for itching in the anal or genital area, on wounds, broken skin, or diaper rash.
  • Avoid getting the medicine in your eyes or on your eyelids.
