How to Use

Dosage

Apply a thin layer only to the affected skin area once a day.

Method

Apply the medicine thinly directly to the skin, only on areas with rash.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
    RARE
    • Inflammation of hair follicles, burning sensation, itching.
    • Infection, abscess, unusual skin sensations, allergic skin rash, changes in skin color, increased hair growth, stretch marks, acne-like rash, thinning of the skin, pain or reactions at the application site, blurred vision.
    • Dry skin, skin irritation, rash, rash around the mouth, softening of the skin, infections, heat rash, and visible small blood vessels under the skin.
    • Slight stinging and skin irritation when using Elocon skin solution.

    Important Warnings

    • Do not use if you are allergic to mometasone or any other ingredient in this medicine, or if you've had an allergic reaction to this or other steroid medicines before.
    • Do not use if you have a bacterial, viral, or fungal infection on your skin.
    • Do not use if you have rosacea or acne on your face.
    • Do not use if you have a reaction after vaccination, chickenpox, tuberculosis, or syphilis.
    • Do not use for itching around the anus or genitals.

    • Do not use on open wounds, broken skin, or for diaper rash.
    • Unless your doctor says otherwise, do not use Elocon under airtight dressings, for a long time (more than 2-3 weeks), on large skin areas, on the face, or in skin folds, especially when treating children.
    • Be careful when using this medicine on children, as long-term use can affect their growth and development.
    • Talk to your doctor before using if you are treating psoriasis.
    • Avoid getting the medicine in your eyes or on your eyelids.
    • Contact your doctor if you experience blurred vision or other eye problems.
    • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
    • Elocon solution for skin contains propylene glycol, which may cause skin irritation.
