How to Use

Dosage

Apply a thin layer twice a day, in the morning and in the evening.

Method

Wash and dry your hands, squeeze cream onto your finger, and apply a thin layer to the affected skin area. Gently rub the cream into the skin until absorbed, then close the tube. Avoid bathing or swimming immediately after application.

Important

Maximum of two times a day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Warm or burning sensation on the treated skin area.
  • Skin irritation, itching, and redness at the application site.
  • Skin infections, such as hair follicle inflammation (folliculitis).
RARE
  • Severe allergic reaction, which may include rash, itching, hives, swelling of hands, feet, face, lips, tongue or throat, difficulty swallowing or breathing, or dizziness.
  • Skin infections, such as impetigo, cold sores, shingles, herpes, molluscum contagiosum, warts, and boils.
  • Rash, pain, tingling, mild skin flaking, dryness, swelling, and worsening eczema symptoms on the treated area.
  • Facial redness, rash, warmth, itching, or swelling shortly after drinking alcohol.
  • Skin color changes (darkening or lightening).

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to pimecrolimus or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Talk to your doctor if your immune system is weakened.
  • Use only for atopic dermatitis, not for other skin conditions.
  • For external use only; avoid contact with nose, eyes, or mouth, and do not swallow.
  • Do not apply to skin areas with an acute viral infection (e.g., cold sores, chickenpox).

  • If you have a skin infection or develop painful blisters, contact your doctor and stop use until the infection has healed.
  • Avoid strong sunlight, sunlamps, and tanning beds during treatment. Use sunscreen and loose clothing outdoors.
  • Tell your doctor if your lymph nodes swell during treatment.
  • Do not use simultaneously with UV light therapy or medicines that weaken the immune system.
  • Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and not on the breasts if you are breastfeeding.
  • Contains ingredients (cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, benzyl alcohol, propylene glycol) that may cause local skin reactions, allergic reactions, or irritation.
