How to Use
Dosage
Take one 60 mg tablet once a day, unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
Method
Swallow the tablet whole with water. You can take it with or without food. If you have trouble swallowing the tablet whole, you can crush it and mix it with water or applesauce.
Important
Do not exceed the dose prescribed by your doctor, which is usually one 60 mg tablet per day.

Important Warnings
- Do not take if you are allergic to edoxaban or any other ingredient in this medicine.
- Do not take if you have active bleeding.
- Do not take if you have a condition that increases the risk of serious bleeding, such as a stomach ulcer, a brain injury, or recent brain or eye surgery.
- Do not take if you are already taking other medicines to prevent blood clotting, unless your doctor specifically tells you to for switching treatments.
- Do not take if you have severe liver disease that increases your bleeding risk.

- Do not take if you have high blood pressure that is not controlled.
- If you need surgery, it is very important to tell your doctor you are taking Edoxaban Zentiva. You may need to stop taking it at least 24 hours before the surgery.
