How to Use
Dosage
The usual dose is one 60 mg tablet once daily; your doctor may prescribe a 30 mg tablet once daily if you have kidney problems, weigh 60 kg or less, or take certain other medicines.
Method
Swallow the tablet whole with water, with or without food. If you have trouble swallowing, the tablet can be crushed and mixed with water or apple sauce right before taking.
Important
Do not take more than one 60 mg tablet in a single day, unless directed otherwise by your doctor for a reduced dose (30 mg).

Important Warnings
- Do not take if you are allergic to edoxaban or any other ingredient in this medicine.
- Do not take if you are currently bleeding.
- Do not take if you have a condition that increases your risk of severe bleeding, such as a stomach ulcer, brain injury, or recent brain or eye surgery.
- Do not take if you are taking other medicines to prevent blood clotting (e.g., warfarin, dabigatran, rivaroxaban, apixaban, or heparin), unless switching treatments under medical supervision.
- Do not take if you have a liver disease that increases your bleeding risk.

- Do not take if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure.
- Do not take if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Inform your doctor if you have end-stage kidney disease, are on dialysis, or have a mechanical heart valve, as this medicine may not be suitable.
- Tell your doctor if you have antiphospholipid syndrome, a condition that may increase your risk of blood clots.
- If you need surgery, it is very important to tell your doctor or dentist that you are taking Edoxaban Zentiva, as you may need to stop taking it for a short time before the procedure.
