How to Use
Dosage
Typically, one 60 mg tablet once daily. Your doctor may reduce the dose to 30 mg if you have kidney issues, weigh 60 kg or less, or are taking certain other medications.
Method
Swallow the tablet with water. You can take it with or without food. If you have trouble swallowing, you can crush the tablet and mix it with water or applesauce.
Important
The maximum recommended daily dose is one 60 mg tablet.

Important Warnings
- Do not take if you are allergic to edoxaban or any other ingredients in this medicine.
- Do not take if you have active bleeding or a condition that increases the risk of severe bleeding (e.g., stomach ulcer, recent brain surgery).
- Do not take if you are using other medicines to prevent blood clotting, unless changing treatments or using heparin to keep a catheter open.
- Talk to your doctor if you have severe kidney or liver disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or a mechanical heart valve.
- Do not take if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
