Edluar is a sleeping medicine that helps adults with severe insomnia, which means trouble falling asleep or staying asleep, for a short time.
Adults usually take 10 mg. If you are elderly, frail, or have liver or breathing problems, your doctor might tell you to take a lower dose, often 5 mg.
Place the tablet under your tongue and let it fully dissolve. Take it just before you go to bed or when you are already in bed. Do not take it with or right after food.
Do not take more than 10 mg in 24 hours.
