How to Use

Dosage

For constipation: 1 sachet 1–3 times daily. For fecal impaction: 8 sachets daily.

Method

Mix one sachet with 125 ml of water until the powder dissolves, then drink the solution.

Important

Maximum 8 sachets per day. If you have a heart condition, do not take more than two sachets within one hour.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis, angioedema) with symptoms such as sudden shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, throat, or other body parts.
  • Changes in body fluid or blood electrolyte levels (e.g., low potassium, low sodium), with symptoms like fatigue, dehydration, shortness of breath, swelling of legs and feet, or heart problems.
COMMON
  • Rash, itching, skin redness, or hives.
  • Swelling of hands, feet, or ankles.
  • Shortness of breath.
  • Headache.
  • Changes in blood potassium levels.
  • Indigestion, stomach pain or rumbling, bloating, gas, nausea, or vomiting.
  • Rectal and anal pain.
  • Diarrhea (often mild and improves with lower dose).

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to any ingredient in Duphagol.
  • Do not take if you have a bowel obstruction, perforated bowel, or severe inflammatory bowel disease.
  • Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
  • If you experience swelling, shortness of breath, fatigue, dehydration, or heart problems, stop using the medicine and contact your doctor.
  • Do not take other oral medicines one hour before, with, or one hour after taking Duphagol.

  • Duphagol may counteract the effect of thickeners if you need to thicken liquids for safe swallowing.
  • If you have a heart condition and are treating fecal impaction, follow the dosage instructions carefully.
