How to Use
Dosage
One capsule once a day.
Method
Swallow the capsule whole with water, 30 minutes after a meal. Do not chew or open it.
Important
Do not take more than one capsule per day.
Possible Side Effects
COMMON
- •Difficulty getting or keeping an erection (impotence)
- •Decreased sex drive
- •Problems with ejaculation, like less semen during sex
- •Enlarged or tender breasts
- •Dizziness
RARE
- •Serious allergic reactions, such as swelling of eyelids, face, lips, arms, or legs; severe skin rash with peeling or blistering (Stevens-Johnson syndrome); or hives.
- •Fainting
- •Long-lasting and painful erection
- •Heart failure (heart doesn't pump blood well, causing shortness of breath, extreme tiredness, and swollen ankles or legs)
- •Low blood pressure when standing up
- •Fast or pounding heartbeat
- •Constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, or nausea (feeling sick)
- •Feeling weak or tired
- •Headache
- •Itchy, blocked, or runny nose
- •Hair loss (usually body hair) or increased hair growth
- •Unusual or fast heartbeat
- •Shortness of breath
- •Feeling sad or depressed
- •Testicular pain or swelling
- •Nosebleeds
- •Severe skin inflammation
- •Vision changes (blurred or reduced vision)
- •Dry mouth
Important Warnings
- Do not take if you are a woman, child, or teenager under 18 years old, as this medicine is only for men.
- Do not take if you are allergic to dutasteride, tamsulosin, soy, peanuts, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
- Do not take if you have low blood pressure that causes dizziness or fainting, or if you have severe liver disease.
- Women, children, and teenagers must not handle leaking capsules. If skin contact happens, wash the area immediately with soap and water.
- Use a condom during sex. The medicine in semen can harm a baby boy if your partner is pregnant or might become pregnant.
