Doximycin is an antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections in different parts of the body.
Typically, take 200 mg (two 100 mg tablets) on the first day, then 100-200 mg daily depending on your infection. Your doctor will tell you the exact dose.
Take with food and plenty of water, sitting upright. Do not lie down immediately after taking to avoid irritation to your food pipe.
The maximum daily dose for adults is generally 200 mg, but your doctor may prescribe higher doses in specific severe cases.
Suitable for older adults. Calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium and aluminium reduce absorption. Protect yourself from excessive exposure to sunlight because of the risk of burning the skin. (updated 6.11.2023)
