Doximed is an antibiotic that stops sensitive bacteria from growing and is used to treat bacterial infections.
For adults and children aged 12–18, treatment usually starts with 200 mg on the first day, followed by a lower dose as directed by your doctor. For children aged 8–12, the dose is as directed by your doctor.
Take tablets with plenty of water, preferably with a meal to reduce stomach upset. Avoid taking just before bedtime.
Up to 200 mg on the first day; thereafter, the dose is usually lower as directed by your doctor.
Suitable for older adults. Calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium and aluminium reduce absorption. Protect yourself from excessive exposure to sunlight because of the risk of burning the skin. (updated 6.11.2023)
