How to Use

Dosage

One vaginal tablet daily for 6 days.

Method

Insert one tablet deep into the vagina every evening before bed. Wash your hands before opening the pack. Lie on your back with slightly bent knees. Stop treatment during heavy menstrual bleeding and continue afterwards.

Important

Do not use more than one vaginal tablet per day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Vaginal discharge, itching or burning
  • Vaginal yeast infection
RARE
  • Vaginal bleeding, vaginal pain
  • Inflammation of the vagina and external genitals
  • Bacterial vaginosis
  • Skin fungal infection
  • Headache
  • Nausea
  • Sores on the vaginal lining, especially if already damaged before treatment
  • Uterine bleeding
  • Redness or vaginal dryness
  • Bladder infection (cystitis)
  • Allergic reaction with symptoms like rash, swelling, or itching
  • Fever

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to dequalinium chloride or any other ingredients.
  • Do not use if you have sores or ulcers in the vagina or cervix.
  • Do not use if you have not yet had your first menstrual period.
  • Do not use vaginal soaps, spermicides, or douches during treatment.
  • Avoid unprotected sex during treatment.

  • This medicine may reduce the effectiveness of non-latex condoms or diaphragms. Use other birth control methods for at least 12 hours after treatment.
  • Do not use this medicine within 12 hours before giving birth. Tell your doctor if you have used it within this timeframe.
  • Do not stop treatment early, even if your symptoms improve. Incomplete treatment may cause symptoms to return.
  • Talk to your doctor if symptoms continue after treatment or come back.
