How to Use

Dosage

Take one Dizminelle tablet every day. Each pack has 24 active pink tablets and 4 white dummy tablets.

Method

Take one tablet at the same time each day, with or without food. Take a pink active tablet for the first 24 days, then a white dummy tablet for the last 4 days. Start a new pack right after the last one, without a break.

Important

Do not take more than one tablet per day.

  • Blood clots (e.g., in legs, lungs, heart attack, stroke, eye, liver, abdomen, or kidneys)
  • Yeast infection (candidiasis)
  • Allergic reaction
  • Depression
  • Dizziness
  • Migraine
  • Acne
  • Itching
  • Rash
  • Stomach pain
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Swelling (fluid retention)
  • Weight gain

Important Warnings

  • Using Dizminelle birth control pills slightly increases your risk of blood clots. Get medical help right away if you notice signs of a blood clot, like swelling in your leg or sudden shortness of breath.
  • Contact your doctor immediately if you have symptoms of angioedema, such as swelling of your face or tongue, trouble swallowing, or difficulty breathing.
  • Do not use Dizminelle if you have liver disease.
  • Do not use Dizminelle if your kidneys are not working well.
  • Do not use Dizminelle if you are pregnant. If you become pregnant, stop taking the pills right away and contact your doctor.
