How to Use

Dosage

Take one tablet once a day.

Method

You can swallow the tablet whole or crush it.

Important

Do not take more than 5 tablets (4000 IU) per day.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • High calcium levels in the blood.
  • High calcium levels in the urine.
  • Itching.
  • Rash.
  • Hives (red, itchy bumps on the skin).
  • Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat.
  • Difficulty swallowing.
  • Difficulty breathing.

Important Warnings

  • Don't take this medicine if you are allergic to colecalciferol or any other ingredient in it.
  • Don't take this medicine if you have too much calcium in your blood (hypercalcaemia) or urine (hypercalciuria).
  • Don't take this medicine if you have too much vitamin D in your blood (hypervitaminosis D).
  • Don't take this medicine if you have kidney stones.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have sarcoidosis (a disease that can affect your lungs, skin, and joints).
