How to Use

Dosage

Take 1 or 2 Divifarm 1000 IU tablets daily as directed by your doctor.

Method

You can swallow the tablets whole or crush them, and they can be taken with food.

Important

Do not exceed a dose of 2000 IU of Vitamin D per day, unless your doctor has prescribed otherwise.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • High calcium levels in the blood (hypercalcemia).
  • High calcium levels in the urine (hypercalciuria).
  • Itching.
  • Rash.
  • Hives (itchy rash).

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to Vitamin D3 or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not take if you have too much calcium in your blood or urine.
  • Do not take if you have too much Vitamin D in your body.
  • Talk to your doctor before taking if you have kidney problems or kidney stones.
  • Talk to your doctor before taking if you have sarcoidosis (a type of inflammatory disease).

  • Tell your doctor if you are taking other Vitamin D medicines or supplements.
  • Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all other medicines you are taking, including those without a prescription.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your doctor for advice before using this medicine. Do not exceed 600 IU of Vitamin D per day during pregnancy.
  • If you have an intolerance to certain sugars (like lactose or sucrose), talk to your doctor before taking this medicine.
