How to Use

Dosage

For adults, take 500-1000 mg up to three times a day for pain or fever. For preventing blood clots, take 50-300 mg once a day. For children, dosage varies by age and weight; always consult a doctor.

Method

Swallow the tablet with a glass of water, preferably with food. The tablet can be broken in half if it's hard to swallow. If used for an acute heart attack, chew the first tablet for faster effect.

Important

Do not exceed 3000 mg per day for pain and fever in adults. For blood clot prevention, do not exceed 300 mg per day. Always follow your doctor's instructions for continuous use.

  • Stomach and intestinal inflammation and pain, bleeding from the digestive tract
  • Rash, itching

RARE
  • Iron deficiency anemia
  • Bleeding in the brain or inside the skull
  • Bruises
  • Nasal congestion
  • Gum bleeding, stomach or intestinal ulcer
  • Liver impairment
  • Hives (urticaria)
  • Hypersensitivity, drug allergy, swelling of the face, lips, mouth, tongue, or throat
  • Anemia due to bleeding
  • Intramuscular bleeding
  • Perforation (hole) in the lining of the digestive tract
  • Increased liver enzyme values in blood tests
  • Kidney dysfunction, acute kidney failure
  • Anaphylactic reaction
  • Hemolysis (breakdown of red blood cells), which can cause anemia
  • Heart and respiratory symptoms (related to an allergic reaction)
  • Bleeding during surgery
  • Respiratory disease
  • Intestinal obstruction (intestinal diaphragm disease, IDD)
  • Anaphylactic shock

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid or similar pain medicines (salicylates/NSAIDs).
  • Do not take if you have had an asthma attack after taking salicylates or other anti-inflammatory pain medicines.
  • Do not take if you have or have had stomach or duodenal ulcers.
  • Do not take if you have a tendency to bleed easily (e.g., hemophilia, low platelet count).
  • Do not take if you have severe liver, kidney, or heart failure.

  • Do not take if you are using methotrexate 15 mg or more per week.
  • Do not use doses over 100 mg per day during the last three months of pregnancy as it may harm the baby or cause problems during birth.
  • Do not give to children or adolescents with viral infections (like flu or chickenpox) without a doctor's advice, due to the risk of Reye's syndrome.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category C

Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Initiation of treatment under supervision of a physician. Do not use in severe renal impairment. Consider potential interactions especially with other drugs that increase the risk of bleeding. (updated 19.9.2025)
