How to Use

Dosage

For adults over 18, the usual dose is one 25-50 mg tablet, up to three times a day.

Method

Take the tablets with liquid. Do not take them with or right after food. Tablets can be split in half. Do not give to children or teenagers under 18.

Important

Do not take more than 150 mg in one day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Stomach pain
  • Feeling sick (nausea)
  • Being sick (vomiting)
  • Diarrhea
  • Heartburn or indigestion
  • Less appetite
  • Gas or bloating
  • Headache
  • Dizziness or light-headedness
  • Skin rash
  • Higher liver test results (seen in blood tests)
RARE
  • Feeling very tired
  • Asthma, making it hard to breathe
  • Stomach inflammation, stomach ulcers, or bleeding in the stomach or intestines (may cause blood in your stool or vomit)
  • Liver problems, including liver inflammation, with or without yellow skin (jaundice)
  • Red skin rash or eczema
  • Swelling in the body from extra fluid

Important Warnings

  • Do not take Dicuno if you are allergic to diclofenac, aspirin, ibuprofen, other pain relievers (NSAIDs), or any of its ingredients. If you think you have an allergic reaction like swollen face, lips, tongue, or throat, trouble breathing, or a rash, stop taking it and get medical help right away.
  • Do not take Dicuno if you have or have had stomach or intestinal ulcers, inflammatory bowel disease, or bleeding in your stomach or intestines from previous NSAID use.
  • Do not take Dicuno if you have a higher risk of bleeding.
  • Do not take Dicuno if you have severe liver, kidney, or heart problems, porphyria (a rare blood disorder), or issues with blood flow to your brain (like a past heart attack or stroke).
  • Do not take Dicuno during the last three months of pregnancy. It's also generally not recommended during the first six months or while breastfeeding. Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to be, or breastfeeding.

  • Dicuno can make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or cause vision problems. If this happens, do not drive or use machines.
  • Do not use this medicine if you have chickenpox.
  • Dicuno may slightly increase your risk of heart attack or stroke, especially with high doses or long-term use. Do not take more than recommended or for longer than instructed.
