Diclofenac Stada gel is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that relieves mild to moderate pain and reduces inflammation in muscle and joint injuries, such as sports injuries.

How to Use

Dosage

Rub 2-4 grams (a strip 5-10 cm long) of gel onto the affected area twice a day.

Method

Apply only to the skin. Gently rub the gel onto the painful or swollen area. Wipe off any excess gel from your hands with a paper towel and wash your hands thoroughly, unless your hands are the area being treated, to avoid contact with mouth and eyes.

Important

Do not use more than 8 grams of gel per day.

  • Rash
  • Eczema
  • Itching
  • Skin redness
  • Skin inflammation
  • Stinging sensation where the gel was applied
RARE
  • Skin inflammation with blisters where the gel was applied
  • Severe allergic reactions such as swelling of the face or tongue, difficulty breathing, or severe skin rash (hives)
  • Increased sensitivity to sunlight (sunburn, itching, swelling, blisters)
  • Asthma

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to diclofenac, other NSAIDs (like ibuprofen or aspirin), or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you are in the last three months of pregnancy or if you are under 14 years old.
  • Do not apply to open wounds, eczema, acne, or infected skin.
  • This gel is only for skin use. Do not get it in your mouth, on mucous membranes, or swallow it.
  • Avoid contact with eyes. If it gets into your eyes, rinse well with clean water and seek medical advice if irritation persists.

  • Always wash your hands after applying the gel, unless your hands are the area being treated, to prevent accidental contact with your mouth and eyes.
  • Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds during treatment and for two weeks after stopping. Cover treated areas with clothes.
  • Stop using the gel if you develop a rash.
