Method

You can take the tablet with or without food. The tablet can be divided into two equal halves.

Your doctor will determine the maximum daily dose, and treatment should be as short as possible to avoid dependency.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to diazepam or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have the muscle weakness disease myasthenia gravis.
  • Do not use if you have severe breathing problems, sleep apnea, or severe liver failure.
  • Do not drink alcohol during treatment. Tell your doctor if you are using opioids (strong painkillers), as combining them can be dangerous.
  • Avoid driving and operating machines, as this medicine can make you less alert.

  • Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly. The dose must be gradually reduced according to your doctor's instructions to avoid dependency.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category D

Avoid use in older adults. Sedative. A long-acting. Increases the risk of drug addiction, cognitive disorder and traffic accidents. Increases risk of falls. Paradoxically, may increase anxiety, restlessness and aggression. Avoid grapefruit. (updated 15.1.2024)
