How to Use
Dosage
One tablet as a single dose.
Method
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew the tablet.
Important
Only one tablet per test. A new test can be performed at the earliest on the following day.
Possible Side Effects
COMMON
- •stomach pain
- •fatigue
- •abnormal sense of smell (parosmia)
Important Warnings
- If you are allergic to 13C-urea or any other ingredient in this medicine.
- If you have a stomach infection, as it may cause a false test result.
- If part of your stomach has been removed.
- If you have used antibiotics in the last four weeks or medicines that reduce stomach acid in the last two weeks, the test may give a false result.
- You must fast for at least six hours before the test. You can drink a little water.
