How to Use

Dosage

For COVID-19, adults and children 12 years and older (weighing at least 40 kg) typically receive 6 mg once daily.

Method

This medicine is given as an injection into a vein, muscle, joint, or soft tissue.

Important

The maximum daily dose can be up to 48 mg, but your doctor will decide the right dose for you.

  • Stomach or gut ulcers

Important Warnings

  • Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly if you have used it for more than 10 days, as it can cause serious problems. Always consult your doctor first.
  • This medicine can increase your risk of infections or make existing ones worse. Tell your doctor about any infections you have.
  • Tell your doctor if you have or have had stomach ulcers, bone loss (osteoporosis), high blood pressure, diabetes, mental health problems, or eye problems like glaucoma.
  • Contact your doctor immediately if you experience muscle cramps, weakness, confusion, or changes in vision.
