This medicine helps your kidneys concentrate urine, reducing how much you pee, especially at night.
The dose is individual and depends on your condition, typically 1-2 tablets (60 or 120 micrograms each) taken up to three times a day, or once at night for bedwetting or nocturia.
Place the tablet under your tongue; it will dissolve without water.
Your doctor will set your maximum daily dose; always limit fluid intake as instructed to avoid problems.
Avoid use in older adults. Risk of fluid retention and hyponatraemia. Treatment of ADH deficiency can be started under specialist supervision. (updated 6.11.2023)
