How to Use

Dosage

Children 1 to 5 years: 2.5 ml once a day. Children 6 to 11 years: 5 ml once a day. Adults and adolescents 12 years and older: 10 ml once a day.

Method

Take by mouth. Swallow the liquid and drink a little water. You can take it with or without food.

Important

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to desloratadine, loratadine, or any other ingredient in the medicine.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have kidney problems or a history of seizures in you or your family.
  • Do not give this medicine to children under 1 year old.
  • It is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Be careful when driving or using machines until you know how the medicine affects you, as it might cause drowsiness.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category C

Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Reduce the dose in severe renal impairment. Concurrent use with clopidogrel can increase loratadine and desloratadine level. (updated 19.9.2025)
