Dermovat is a strong corticosteroid medicine that reduces skin redness, swelling, and irritation, used for stubborn skin conditions like psoriasis when milder medicines haven't worked.
Apply Dermovat 1-2 times a day. As your skin gets better, your doctor may tell you to use it less often or switch to a milder cream.
Apply a thin layer and gently rub it into the affected skin. Use only enough to cover the whole area. Wash your hands after applying, unless your hands are being treated. If you use moisturizer, let Dermovat soak in first.
Do not use Dermovat daily for longer than three weeks at a time.
Topical treatment: Suitable for older adults. (updated 11.9.2023)
