  • High body temperature, sweating, increased saliva, stiff muscles, shaking (may be signs of Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome)
  • Severe allergic reaction with fast swelling of face or throat, trouble swallowing, hives, and breathing problems
  • Confusion
  • Agitation (restlessness due to anxiety)
  • Irregular heartbeat
  • Rash
  • Blood disorders (e.g., affecting red blood cells or platelets)
  • Mood changes (e.g., sadness, anxiety, depression, irritability)
  • Involuntary muscle movements

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to droperidol or similar medicines (like haloperidol).
  • Do not take if you have abnormal heart readings, a very slow heart rate (under 55 bpm), or low potassium/magnesium in your blood.
  • Do not take if you have an adrenal gland tumor, are in a coma, have Parkinson's disease, or severe depression.
  • Do not drink alcohol, drive, or use machines for 24 hours after taking this medicine.
  • Tell your doctor if you have or have had epilepsy, heart problems, kidney or lung problems, prolonged vomiting/diarrhea, or a family history of sudden death or blood clots.
