Dasatinib Viatris is a medicine used to treat certain types of leukemia (blood cancer) in adults and children aged 1 year and older by stopping the growth of cancer cells.
For adults, the dose varies from 100 mg to 140 mg once daily depending on the type of illness. For children, the dose depends on body weight and is determined by the doctor.
Take the tablets whole at the same time each day, with or without food. Do not crush, split, or chew them.
Your doctor will determine your dose, but the highest recommended starting dose for adults is 140 mg once daily.
