How to Use

Method

The medicine is given directly into a vein (intravenously) as an infusion (drip) over 30-60 minutes, or for adults, as a quick injection over 2 minutes.

Important Warnings

  • Tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, as your dose may need to be adjusted.
  • Report any unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness to your doctor immediately.
  • Seek immediate medical help if you have severe allergic reactions like difficulty breathing, swelling of your face or throat, rash, or hives.
  • Tell your doctor right away if you develop severe skin reactions, such as fever, red raised or fluid-filled spots, or blisters/sores in your mouth or genitals.
  • Inform your doctor if you experience unusual tingling, numbness, loss of sensation, or difficulty moving in your hands or feet.
