How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will determine the correct dose for you based on your individual needs.

Method

Swallow the capsule whole with a full glass of water, at least 30 minutes before lying down, to avoid irritation.

Important

Do not exceed the maximum daily dose prescribed by your doctor.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take Dalacin if you are allergic to clindamycin, lincomycin, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have or have had any bowel disease.
  • If you experience prolonged, bloody, or severe diarrhea during or after treatment, contact your doctor immediately.
  • Acute kidney problems can occur. Tell your doctor about all medicines you are taking and any kidney problems you have. If you notice reduced urine output, swelling in your legs, ankles, or feet, shortness of breath, or nausea, contact your doctor immediately.
  • To prevent irritation and ulcers in the esophagus, it is very important to take Dalacin capsules exactly as instructed (with a full glass of water, at least 30 minutes before lying down).

  • It is important to complete the entire course of medication as prescribed, otherwise the infection may return.
  • Dalacin capsules contain a small amount of lactose. If your doctor has told you that you have an intolerance to some sugars, talk to your doctor before taking this medicine.
  • If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
