How to Use

Dosage

Insert one applicatorful of Dalacin vaginal cream (about 5 g) into the vagina.

Method

Preferably just before bedtime for seven days.

Important

One applicatorful (about 5 g) once daily.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Dalacin vaginal cream if you are allergic to clindamycin, lincomycin, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have had colon inflammation (colitis) with previous antibiotic treatment.
  • This medicine can sometimes cause yeast overgrowth in the vagina.
  • If you get severe or long-lasting diarrhea during treatment, contact your doctor right away.
  • Dalacin contains ingredients that can weaken latex or rubber products like condoms and diaphragms. Do not use them for 72 hours after Dalacin treatment. Use other birth control and avoid sex during treatment.

  • Do not use other vaginal products, such as tampons or vaginal douches, during Dalacin treatment.
  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before using this medicine. It may cause diarrhea, bloody stools, or rash in a breastfed baby.
