How to Use

Dosage

Apply a thin layer to the affected skin.

Method

Wash and dry the skin well. Apply the cream to the infected area and the skin around it, then gently rub it in until absorbed. Do this 1-2 times a day.

Important

Do not use more than 2 times per day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Daktacort if you are allergic to its ingredients, other similar antifungal medicines, or if your skin infection is caused by viruses (like herpes or chickenpox) or tuberculosis bacteria.
  • Avoid getting the cream in your eyes.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly after applying Daktacort, unless you are treating your hands. Use your own towel and change clothes often if they touch the infected area to prevent spreading the infection.
  • If you take blood-thinning medicine like warfarin, stop using Daktacort right away and ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice if you notice unusual bleeding or bruising.
  • Contact a doctor if you experience blurred vision or other vision problems.

  • Daktacort can damage some synthetic materials. It is best to use cotton underwear and clothes that touch the infected skin area.
  • Do not use Daktacort on children's faces, and do not use it for more than 2 weeks on children.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, avoid treating large skin areas or applying the cream under tight bandages or clothes. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
