How to Use

Dosage

Take one tablet daily for 21 days, followed by a 7-day break.

Method

Swallow the tablet whole with water, preferably at the same time each day, either in the evening or morning.

Important

Maximum one tablet per day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Irregular bleeding, no bleeding, or irregular vaginal bleeding.
  • Mood swings, depression, or nervousness.
  • Headache.
  • Dizziness.
  • Nausea or abdominal pain.
  • Acne.
  • Breast tenderness or pain.
  • Weight gain.
RARE
  • Decreased or increased sexual desire.
  • Migraine.
  • Vomiting.
  • Rash, itching, or hives.
  • Fluid retention.
  • High blood pressure.
  • Vaginal yeast infection.
  • Hypersensitivity reactions (e.g., severe itching, swelling).
  • Eye irritation with contact lens use.
  • Hair loss.
  • Skin reactions (e.g., erythema nodosum, erythema multiforme).
  • Breast discharge.
  • Hearing impairment (otosclerosis).

Important Warnings

  • Seek immediate medical help if you notice symptoms of a blood clot, such as sudden pain or swelling in a leg, chest pain, or shortness of breath.
  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to desogestrel, ethinylestradiol, or any other ingredients.
  • Do not use Daisynelle if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or suspect you might be pregnant.
  • Contact a doctor immediately if you develop symptoms of angioedema, such as swelling of the face, tongue, and/or throat, difficulty swallowing, or hives with breathing problems.
  • Do not use Daisynelle if you have certain severe medical conditions like a history of blood clots, heart attack, stroke, severe diabetes with vessel damage, very high blood pressure, certain liver diseases, or cancers affected by sex hormones.
