How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will decide your dose based on your weight; typically, it's 0.10-0.30 mg per kg per day after transplant.

Method

Take Dailiport by mouth once daily in the morning, either on an empty stomach or 2-3 hours after a meal, swallowing the whole capsule with water.

Important

Your doctor will determine your maximum daily dose, which is adjusted over time.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • High blood sugar, diabetes, high potassium in blood
  • Sleep problems
  • Tremors, headache
  • High blood pressure
  • Abnormal liver function tests
  • Diarrhea, nausea
  • Kidney problems
RARE
  • Changes in blood cell counts (platelets, red or white cells), increased white blood cells, changes in red blood cells (seen in blood tests)
  • Low magnesium, phosphate, potassium, calcium, or sodium in blood, fluid retention, high uric acid or fats in blood, decreased appetite, increased blood acidity, other changes in blood salt levels (seen in blood tests)
  • Anxiety, confusion and disorientation, depression, mood changes, nightmares, hallucinations, mental disorders
  • Seizures, altered consciousness, tingling or numbness (sometimes painful) in hands and feet, dizziness, writing problems, nervous system disorders
  • Blurred vision, increased light sensitivity, eye symptoms
  • Ringing in ears
  • Reduced blood flow in heart vessels, fast heart rate
  • Bleeding, partial or complete blood vessel blockage, low blood pressure
  • Shortness of breath, lung changes, fluid around lungs, sore throat, cough, flu-like symptoms
  • Stomach problems like inflammation or ulcers causing pain and diarrhea, stomach bleeding, mouth inflammation or ulcers, fluid in abdomen, vomiting, abdominal pain, indigestion, constipation, gas, bloating, loose stools
  • Bile duct problems, yellow skin due to liver issues, liver tissue damage, liver inflammation
  • Itching, rash, hair loss, acne, increased sweating
  • Joint, limb, back, and foot pain, muscle cramps
  • Kidney failure, reduced urine output, difficulty or pain when urinating
  • General weakness, fever, fluid retention, pain and discomfort, increased alkaline phosphatase in blood, weight gain, abnormal body temperature sensation
RARE
  • Small skin bleeds due to blood clots
  • Increased muscle tone
  • Deafness
  • Fluid around the heart
  • Acute shortness of breath
  • Cyst formation in pancreas
  • Liver blood flow problems
  • Severe illness with blisters on skin, mouth, eyes, and genitals, increased hair growth
  • Thirst, falls, chest tightness, reduced mobility, ulcers

Important Warnings

  • If you are allergic to tacrolimus, sirolimus, certain antibiotics (like erythromycin), peanuts, or soy, do not take this medicine.
  • Avoid using St. John's Wort or other herbal products, as they can affect how Dailiport works.
  • Contact your doctor immediately if you experience vision problems, such as blurred vision, changes in color vision, or narrowed field of vision.
  • Protect your skin from sun and UV light with clothing and high SPF sunscreen, as this medicine increases your risk of skin cancer.
  • Do not eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice while taking Dailiport, as it can affect the medicine's levels in your blood.

  • If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, and do not breastfeed during treatment.
  • Do not drive or operate machines if Dailiport makes you feel dizzy, sleepy, or causes vision problems.
  • Do not stop taking Dailiport without your doctor's approval, as it could increase the risk of your transplanted organ being rejected.
  • Be aware that severe allergic reactions and a higher risk of certain cancers, including skin cancer, have been reported with this medicine.
