How to Use

Dosage

Take Dailiport exactly as your doctor has prescribed.

Method

Take the capsule by mouth once a day in the morning, either on an empty stomach or 2-3 hours after a meal. Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Do not swallow the desiccant from the foil pouch.

Important

Your doctor will determine your maximum daily dose.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Severe stomach pain, possibly with chills, fever, nausea, and vomiting.
  • Worsening function of the transplanted organ.
  • Blurred vision.
  • High blood sugar, diabetes, high potassium in the blood.
  • Difficulty sleeping.
  • Trembling, headache.
  • High blood pressure.
  • Abnormal liver function test results.
  • Diarrhea, nausea.
  • Kidney problems.
  • Decrease in blood cell counts (platelets, red or white blood cells).
  • Decreased levels of magnesium, phosphate, potassium, calcium, or sodium in the blood.
  • Anxiety, confusion, disorientation, depression, mood changes, nightmares, hallucinations, mental disorders.
  • Seizures, disturbances in consciousness, tingling or numbness in hands and feet, dizziness, handwriting difficulties, nervous system disorders.
  • Blurred vision, increased light sensitivity, eye problems.
  • Ringing in the ears.
  • Reduced blood flow in heart, increased heart rate.
  • Bleeding, blockage of blood vessels, low blood pressure.
  • Shortness of breath, lung changes, fluid around lungs, pharyngitis, cough, flu-like symptoms.
  • Abdominal pain and diarrhea, ulcers, stomach bleeding, mouth inflammation, fluid in abdomen, vomiting, indigestion, constipation, flatulence, swelling, loose stools.
  • Biliary problems, yellowing of skin due to liver issues, liver tissue damage, hepatitis.
  • Itching, rash, hair loss, acne, increased sweating.
  • Joint, limb, back and foot pain, muscle cramps.
  • Kidney failure, decreased urine output, difficulty or pain when urinating.
  • General weakness, fever, swelling, pain, discomfort, increased blood alkaline phosphatase levels, weight gain, impaired body temperature sensation.
RARE
  • Damage to small blood vessels, accompanied by reduced urine output, severe fatigue, yellowing of skin and eyes, unusual bruising or bleeding, and signs of infection.
  • Fever and bruising under the skin, unexplained fatigue, confusion, yellowing of skin or eyes, symptoms of acute kidney failure, and vision loss and seizures.
  • Blisters and erosions on skin or mucous membranes, red swollen skin that may peel off extensively.
  • Blindness.
  • Widespread skin pain, facial swelling, blisters on skin, mouth, eyes, and genitals, hives, tongue swelling, rash, skin peeling.
  • Changes in heart rate, chest pain, fainting, dizziness, nausea, palpitations, breathing difficulties.
  • Prolonged diarrhea, fever, and sore throat (infections caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or protozoa).
  • Skin cancers and Kaposi's sarcoma (skin lesions, new or changing moles, sores, or nodules).
  • Severe reduction in red blood cells, anemia (fatigue due to red blood cell breakdown), febrile neutropenia (fever with reduced white blood cells). May present as fatigue, apathy, pallor, shortness of breath, dizziness, headache, chest pain, and cold hands and feet.
  • Severe reduction in white blood cells, mouth ulcers, fever, infections, chills, sore throat.
  • Sudden itchy rash (hives), swelling of hands, feet, ankles, face, lips, mouth and throat (may cause difficulty swallowing or breathing), feeling of fainting.
  • Headache, confusion, mood changes, seizures, vision problems.
  • Vision problems, such as blurred vision, changes in color vision, difficulty seeing clearly, or narrowed field of vision.
  • Changes in blood clotting values, decrease in all blood cell counts.
  • Dehydration, urinary retention.
  • Abnormal blood tests: decreased protein or sugar, increased phosphate, increased lactate dehydrogenase in blood.
  • Deep unconsciousness (coma), brain hemorrhage, stroke, paralysis, brain function disorders, speech and language disorders, memory disorders.
  • Clouding of eye lenses, hearing impairment.
  • Irregular heartbeats, worsening heart condition, cardiac arrest, weakened heart function, heart muscle disease, enlarged heart muscle, increased heart rate, abnormal ECG, irregular heart rate/pulse.
  • Blood clot in a limb blood vessel, shock.
  • Breathing difficulties, respiratory diseases, asthma.
  • Bowel obstruction, increased blood amylase, stomach contents reflux (GERD), delayed gastric emptying.
  • Skin inflammation, burning sensation on skin in sunlight.
  • Joint problems.
  • Painful periods and menstrual disorders.
  • Multiple organ dysfunction, flu-like symptoms, increased sensitivity to heat and cold, chest pressure, nervousness or unusual feeling, weight loss.
  • Increased muscle stiffness.
  • Deafness.
  • Fluid accumulation around the heart.
  • Cyst formation in the pancreas.
  • Liver blood circulation disorders.
  • Severe disease with blistering of skin, mouth, eyes, and genitals; increased hair growth.
  • Thirst, falls, feeling of chest pressure, reduced mobility, ulcers.
  • Muscle weakness.
  • Abnormal echocardiogram.
  • Liver failure.
  • Painful urination with blood in urine.
  • Increased amount of fatty tissue.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to tacrolimus or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to sirolimus or certain antibiotics (such as erythromycin, clarithromycin, josamycin).
  • If you are allergic to peanuts or soy, do not use this medicine.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have liver problems.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have diarrhea lasting more than a day.

  • Talk to your doctor if you experience severe stomach pain, chills, fever, nausea, or vomiting.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have changes in your heart's electrical activity (QT prolongation).
  • Avoid St. John's Wort and other herbal remedies, as they can affect Dailiport's effectiveness.
  • Contact your doctor immediately if you experience vision problems, such as blurred vision or changes in color vision.
  • Protect your skin from sun and UV light while taking Dailiport, as it can increase the risk of skin cancer. Use protective clothing and high SPF sunscreen.
  • Dailiport is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years old.
  • Avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice, as they can affect Dailiport's blood levels.
  • Do not breastfeed while taking Dailiport, as it passes into breast milk.
  • Do not drive or operate machinery if you feel dizzy, sleepy, or have vision problems after taking Dailiport, especially with alcohol.
