How to Use

Dosage

Spray enough solution to cover the injured area 1 to 2 times a day until the wound starts to heal.

Method

First, clean and dry the wound. Then, spray Cristalmina directly onto the injured area from about 10 cm away from the skin. You can also spray the solution onto gauze and clean the wound with it. Let the skin air dry.

Important

Spray a maximum of 1 to 2 times a day.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Sudden wheezing or difficulty breathing
  • Fainting
  • Swelling of the face
  • Swelling of the mouth, tongue, or throat, which may be red, sore, and/or cause difficulty swallowing
  • Chest pain
  • Red patches on the skin
RARE
  • Chemical burns in newborns
  • Allergic skin reactions, such as rash, itching, redness of the skin, eczema, hives, skin irritation, and blisters
  • Eye damage, including permanent vision loss, if the medicine accidentally gets into the eyes during surgery on patients under anesthesia

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to chlorhexidine.
  • Do not put in ears, especially if your eardrum is damaged.
  • This medicine is for external use only. Do not swallow it.
  • Do not spray in eyes, ears, inside the mouth, or on other mucous membranes. If the solution accidentally gets in your eyes or ears, rinse them thoroughly with water right away.
  • Avoid contact with the brain, meninges (membranes around the brain and spinal cord), and middle ear.

  • Do not use too much, and do not let the solution build up in skin folds or under the patient.
  • Talk to your doctor before using this medicine on deep or large wounds.
  • Do not use repeatedly, on large skin areas, or with occlusive dressings.
  • Do not use this medicine on babies younger than 2 months. Talk to a doctor if you are using it on children between 2 and 30 months old.
