How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will determine your individual dose, typically 25,000–80,000 lipase units per meal for adults. For children, the dose is weight-based (1,000 units/kg for under 4 years, 500 units/kg for 4 years and older). For snacks, take half of a meal dose.

Method

Take capsules whole with water or juice with or immediately after a meal or snack. Do not chew or crush. If swallowing is difficult, open the capsule and mix the pellets with a small amount of acidic, soft food (like yogurt or applesauce) or acidic liquid (like apple or orange juice). Swallow immediately and drink more water or juice.

Important

Do not exceed 2,500 lipase units per kg body weight per meal or 10,000 lipase units per kg body weight per day.
