How to Use

Dosage

Adults and elderly: 1 capsule three times a day, up to 2 capsules three times a day if needed. Young people (12-17 years): 1 capsule three times a day. Children (8-11 years): 1 capsule twice a day.

Method

Swallow the capsules whole with water. Do not chew, crush, or break them. Take at least 30 minutes before or after a meal.

Important

Adults and elderly: 6 capsules per day. Young people (12-17 years): 3 capsules per day. Children (8-11 years): 2 capsules per day. Do not give to children under 8 years of age.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to peppermint oil, menthol, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not take if you have a liver disease, bile duct inflammation (cholangitis), low stomach acid (achlorhydria), gallstones, or other bile duct diseases.
  • Do not give to children under 8 years of age.
  • If you are allergic to peanuts or soy, do not use this medicine.
  • Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have heartburn or a hiatal hernia, as these symptoms might get worse with this medicine and treatment should be stopped.

  • Other medicines that reduce stomach acid (like antacids or proton pump inhibitors) should be taken at least 2 hours before or 2 hours after Colpermin to prevent early release of peppermint oil.
  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine, as its use is not recommended due to insufficient data.
