How to Use
Dosage
Adults: 1 lozenge every 2-3 hours. For 12-18 year olds: 1 lozenge every 2-3 hours.
Method
Let one lozenge melt slowly in your mouth.
Important
Adults: Do not take more than 10 lozenges per day. For 12-18 year olds: Do not take more than 5 lozenges per day.
Possible Side Effects
COMMON
- •Taste disturbances.
- •Irritating feeling on the tongue.
- •Brown discoloration of teeth with prolonged use (removable).
RARE
- •Swelling of the face, tongue, or throat.
- •Difficulty swallowing.
- •Skin rash.
- •Difficulty breathing.
- •Severe allergic reaction with symptoms like itching, hives, wheezing, or feeling faint. Stop taking the medicine and see a doctor immediately.
Important Warnings
- Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine.
- Do not give this medicine to children under 12 years old.
- Use only for short-term relief (up to 5 days). If you don't feel better after 3-4 days, or if your condition worsens, see a doctor.
- See a doctor if you have a fever, headache, nausea, vomiting, or a rash along with your sore throat.
- Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
